It's impossible to see any of this on the photographs and very difficult to see in person. It's a tiny ding, and does not penetrate the wood. There is one spot on the top, literally, about the size of a pin head that will not buff out. All of those would definitely buff out on a large buffer. Below the neck on the lower bout from picking, and one spot on the back. There are VERY MINOR surface scratches on a few spots(pictured) In the usual spots At the sound hole from a pick. It's super versatile, The DADDY of all guitars. The pickup sounds amazing in a larger venue, and makes this guitar well rounded for literally any application. It has such a natural and woody tone and really fills a room with sound. It sounds amazing mic'd up, but especially a few feet back. This model was created in the 1930's as a means to make guitars loud enough to compete with an orchestra But also to retain the euphonic tone of smaller bodied guitars. This guitar was Manufactured in 1994 at the Gibson Bozeman Plant on October 26th.
